Thanks to all of the Language Bear's friends, Bosley's first book "Bosley Sees the World" will be professionally published and made available worldwide!  There are currently 7 translations for this dual language children's book which were all made possible by individual supporters of the Language Bear, like you.  This is the first book in the "Adventures of Bosley Bear" series and is written to encourage children to understand the world around them, to explore and learn new things and to challenge themselves everyday.  As a teacher, the author, Tim Johnson understands the power and beauty of youth and works to help children grow with confidence and ultimately realize their full potential.  And as a lifelong martial artist, he knows that one's potential is truly limitless.  Also an engineer by trade, Tim focuses his teaching efforts on the fundamental skill of learning on order to allow each child to express their own creative and individual learning process.

The Adventures of Bosley Bear will be a series of dual language books, each of them will be written in English as well as Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and so on.  Certain corresponding words are highlighted in both languages to help give a better understanding.  And there's a list of vocabulary words in the back to help you and your child learn.

The Language Bear is at it again!  After suggestions from customers and more hard work on this end, we now offer a much better way to search, view and purchase books.  An integrated shopping cart, better visibility in the book listings and much more information about the books at a glance!  Featured book listings (that will actually be updated now!)  and the book listings will be much more reliable now, I know that there was some confusion before.

Since it's year 3, we decided it was time, once again, for a facelift!  The old LB was getting a bit dull and there were modifications that needed to be made.  This site is completely redone and should offer the best-yet interface for perusing your favorite second language reading material.  Of course, feel free to give us your honest feedback, if you don't like it, it will most likely change.

Well, the left hand "language menu" has just been upgraded, and I think it will be a lot easier to see what's going on. We're offering too many languages to list all the subcategories too. So now it just shows the language name and the subcategories of only the language you're interested in. Hopefully this will bring more order to the page, and it will allow us to add more and more languages and keep the clutter down.
